Degree from The Juilliard School, and has performed with the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra, besides giving numerous solo and ensemble recitals. She continues to perform whenever possible. Sylvia was very active professionally. She belonged to the Kalamazoo and Michigan affiliates of the Music Teachers National Association. "As I, the director and presenter of this piano music CD, am visually impaired, I am donating 3% of the sale of this CD to the Michigan Commission for the Blind.
